Re-tile on new membrane and battens
About this job
The old tiles were stripped off and the roof was covered in new breathable membrane, with new battens fixed across it at the right gauge for the tiles. The new interlocking tiles then went on course by course, up to a dry ridge.
New membrane and battens are what keep a re-tiled roof dry and secure for years, so they are never skipped on a re-roof.
