Old slate roof stripped and re-slated
About this job
Before the work started, this slate roof was worn and mossy. It was stripped back, the boards underneath were checked and covered in new breathable membrane, and the roof was re-slated with new roof windows set into the slope.
The aerial photo shows the roof opened up during the work, with the scaffold running all the way round.
